I’m sorry to butt in, but here’s what I was taught. The people that originally discovered Greenland were like “This land is shit”. So they named it Greenland to convince other people “This land is fertile and amazing.” The same goes for Iceland. Its intentionally misleading.Why is Greenland called Greenland when it’s all ice
